Gon Freecss (Gon Furīkusu) is a young boy with a dream. He comes from humble beginnings, but that doesn’t stop him from aspiring to be one of the greatest Hunters in the world. Why does he want to become a Hunter? Read on to find out!

Gon Freecss is the son of Ging Freecss, one of the most famous Hunters in history. When Gon was just a baby, his parents died in an accident. He was then rescued by a man named Kite, who took him in and raised him as his own. Kite was an admirer of Ging, and this awakened in Gon the desire to meet his father and learn more about him. In order to do so, Gon knew that he needed to obtain a Hunter License.

So, Gon set out on his journey to become a Hunter. He quickly realized that he had talent as an Enhancer, which is a type of Hunter known for being simple-minded and determined. This determination and talent led to both potential allies and potential enemies trusting in him and taking his side. As he continued on his journey, he began to understand more about what it meant to be a Hunter and what drives someone to choose this profession over everything else.
