Kurapika 2

Kurapika (Kurapika) is one of the most complex and interesting characters in Hunter x Hunter. He’s calm and collected, yet knows how to fight with ferocity when the situation calls for it. He’s a Blacklist Hunter and the current leader of the organization founded by Light Nostrade. He’s also a member of the Zodiacs with the codename “Rat”. Kurapika’s ultimate goal is to avenge his clan and recover the remaining Scarlet Eyes.

Kurapika is an introverted individual, not one to open up to people easily. This distance from others initially keeps him level-headed and moralistic. However, his heart has been poisoned with sadness and hatred after losing everyone he loved at the age of twelve. This tragedy has driven Kurapika to seek revenge on those responsible for his clan’s demise. In spite of everything he’s been through, Kurapika can still be kind and affectionate. He genuinely cares for his friends and lights up when he sees them happy.

Kurapika is an incredibly intriguing character with a dark past that fuels his drive for revenge. He’s closed off to most people, but those who have earned his trust know that he’s a force to be reckoned with both inside and outside of battle. His loyalty to his friends and determination to achieve his goals are admirable qualities that make him someone worth rooting for despite everything he’s been through.
